Russians at European meetings

Russian Winter winner and World leader (6.87) Darya Klishina, 19, won the women’s long jump at the Erdgas indoor meeting held in Leipzig setting a meeting record of 6.74m.
Sergey Kucheryanu placed second in the men’s pole vault with his season best of 5.60. Aleksandr Gripich was 3rd – 5.50. Mariya Bolikova finished second in the women’s 60m clocking 7.26.
Tatyana Polnova won the women’s pole vault at the Stabhochsprung-Meeting held in Potsdam, Germany. She cleared 4.65m. Yuliya Golubchikova was unsuccessful, cleared 4.35 and placed 5th. Yekaterina Kolesova was 7th - 4.25.
Viktor Chistyakov placed second in the men’s pole vault clearing 5.60m after Ukraine’s Maksim Mazurik with 5.70.
