World lead for Yevgeniya Zinurova

Yevgeniya Zinurova clocked a World season lead in the women’s 800m of 1:58,65 at the Moscow Indoor Championships in Moscow.

Zinurova clocked a sub-2:00 for the first time in her career. Yevgeniya Zolotova finished second with 2:00.63 and Anna Balakshina finished third – 2:00.65. Anna Alminova who runs 1500 or 3000 as a rule set her PB of 2:02.04. Stepan Poistogov won the men’s 800m - 1:47.82.

Yuliya Golubchikova won the women’s pole vault clearing 4.40m. Anna Pyatykh won the women’s triple jump – 14.28. Natalya Kutyakova placed second achieving 14.22.

Olympic 4x400m champion Yevgeniya Polyakova won the women’s 200m with a Russian season best of 23.33. Another Olympic champion Yuliya Gushchina fininshed second – 23.39. Tatyana Firova who set the World season lead in the women’s 400m clocked 23.57. Roman Smirnov won the men’s 200 - 21.02.

Oksana Belyakova won the women’s 3000m - 9:04.04. Aleksandr Orlov won the men’s 3000m clocking 7:54.55.

Ivan Ilyichov and Eduard Malchenko cleared 2.24 in the men’s high jump placing first and second respectively.

Taras Moiseyenko achieved a Russian season lead in the men’s triple jump – 16.88.
