Bakulin and Vershinin take first wins in Sochi

Sergey Bakulin won the men’s 35km at the 2010 Russian Race Walking Championships started in Sochi today. He clocked 2:27:42 in a sunny weather of +15°C.
2-time World champion Sergey Kirdyapkin finished second in 2:29:00. Sergey Sergachov was third with a PB of 2:30:56.
Ruslan Vershinin won in the U23 men’s 35km clocking 2:36:22. Anton Sivakov finished second (2:37:17) and Aleksey Bartsaykin was third (2:39:48).
