1,363 doping tests carried out in Vancouver

IOC reports that some 1,363 doping tests have been carried out so far in the framework of the largest ever testing program for an Olympic Winter Games.
The tests include 1,040 urine and 323 blood tests. These tests cover the period beginning 4 February until 18 February 2010. Athletes participating in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games have been tested by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Organizing Committee (VANOC) under the authority of the IOC. So far, no athlete has been sanctioned, but one athlete has received a reprimand.
