Debbie Dunn opens her season

World indoor 400m champion Debbie Dunn opened her season by winning the 200m at the Southern Games in Trinidad and Tobago.

Trinidad´s pair of Reyare Thomas (11.88) and Keston Bledman (10.60) ran away with the women‘s and men‘s 100m titles at Saturday‘s (Mar 20) Southern Games being staged at Guaracara Park. In the men‘s 400m, Jehue Gordon, the 4th place finisher at last year‘s World Championships in the 400m hurdles, took top honors in 47.18 ahead of American Jerome Davis (47.38). Jamaican Xavier Brown was third in 48.92.
