Vili splits with Hellier

Olympic and World Championship-winning combination Kirsten Hellier and Valerie Vili jointly announced they have agreed to end their coaching partnership.Informs NZ Athletics website.
Hellier will no longer take responsibility for Vili’s coaching and after more than a decade of domestic and international success, says its time for Vili to enter into the next phase. „My desire now is to explore new business and career opportunities and spend more time with my family,“ Hellier added. Vili said her management team was working on finding a new coach. Her immediate aims were to defend her title at the Commonwealth Games at New Delhi in October and at the 2012 London Olympics.
