Thorkildsen had good winter training

Javelin world champion Andreas Thorkildsen was training recent weeks indoors in the Valhall of Oslo. This large facility enabled him also to throw.
Next in plan is training camp in San Diego. His coach Asmund Martinsen was pleased with the winter preparation. „He has never been so strong, „ the coach was quoted. „I think that I am in good form, but I have not thrown with javelin too much,“ said Thorkildsen. His first competition should be end of May in Floro and then the first leg of IAAF Diamond League with men javelin, his home meet Bislett Games in Oslo. Thorkildsen is one of ambassadors of the new series and is contracted to compete in all with men´s javelin.
