London 2012: track and field athletes will not get chance to "test" Olympics stadium

International track and field athletes may not get a chance to compete in the main Olympic stadium before the London 2012 Olympics.
London organising committee (Locog) chairman Lord Sebastian Coe has confirmed that the British Universities and Colleges Sports championships, will be the official 'test' event at the 80,000 seat stadium, held around May, 2012.
Coe said there would also be a range of other events that will test the capabilities, timing, technology of the stadium.
