Goncharova wins in Italy

Marina Goncharova won the heptathlon at the 23° Multistars, a leg of the IAAF World Cimbined Events Challenge, held in Desenzano del Garda, Italy.
She scored 6008 points beating former IAAF World bronze medalist Margaret Simpson (Ghana) with 5929 and World Championships fifth placer Anna Melnichenko (Ukraine) with 5895 points.
