Ukrainian youth shines on the first day of the European Youth Olympic Trials

Four gold medals were decided on the first day of the European Youth Olympic Trials in Moscow on Friday, with the Ukrainian athletes being prominent among the star performers and securing two victories.
Oksana Rayta won the girls 2000m steeplechase in 6:48.27, the fastest time in the world this year by a youth athlete and an improvement on her personal best by almost 10 seconds.
