Russians in Top 3 of European Combined Events

The Russian men’s team placed second at the European Combined Events Cup held in Tallinn, Estonia. The women’s team was third at the cup.
Aleksandr Tabala placed 6th in the men’s decathlon scoring 7718 points, Aleksandr Kislov was after him with 7652 points, and Mikhail Logvinenko finished 13 – 7372 points.
In the women’s heptathlon, Aleksandra Butvina placed 3rd with 5990 points, Nadezhda Sergeyeva placed 15th (5661) and Yekaterina Bolshova was 16th (5650).
