The 20th edition of the Russian Winter will be held in Moscow on 6 February 2011, the IAAF Council decided in Kiev, Ukraine, today.
The IAAF Council approved the 2011 calendar for Indoor Permit meetings.

Düsseldorf will be added to the IAAF Calendar once the date has been confirmed. The European Indoor Championships will be held on 4-6 March in Paris.
As Russian Winter meeting director Mikhail Butov has told RusAthletics, “The 20th Russian Winter will be held at the CSKA area. The meeting’s events to be included in to the meeting program are being specified. We plan to hold a record race in the men’s 600m, where we hope to see Yuriy Borzakovskiy who is recovering from an injury. He showed enthusiasm to run at the Russian Winter again in a good company of strong athletes”.
