Athletic Championships has its own ambassador, mascot and anthem

Introducing one of the ambassadors, two mascots and an official anthem, and also signing the official contract with a strategic partner, those were the main items of the second press conference for the European Athletic U23 Championships which is to be held from 14th – 17th July 2011 in Ostrava.
Organizers met the journalists in official Seat/Auto Heller car showroom. Why? The company Auto Heller, represented by the financial manager Jiri Sebesta, signed the official contract of cooperation with the EC U23 Local Organizing Committee, represented by Oldrich Zvolanek, vice-chairman of Czech Athletic Association. “We are very glad that the Czech athletics has been cooperating with Seat cars. We are following in the footsteps and furthermore, we are supporting all athletes in our region,” said Mr. Sebesta.
Oldrich Zvolanek accepted the keys to Seat Exeo which will be used by the LOC. “When organizing events like this, everything task is quite demanding, so this contract is actually a weight off my mind,” revealed the Event Operation Director. At the same time he announced that Ostrava has officially applied for organizing the European Team Championships in Athletics in 2013.
