Ivan Ukhov wins in Moscow

World season leader Ivan Ukhov won the men’s high jump at the Moscow High Jump with Music Cup for the 4th time in his career. He cleared 2.30m.

Aleksey Dmitrik (2nd), Aleksandr Shustov (3rd), Sergey Mudrov (4th), Eduard Malchenko (5th) cleared 2.27m.

Ivan Ukhov said after the competition that he feels not too good, so he decided to be careful before the Russian Winter. He noted that his recovery is going better then he doesn’t interrupt competing and training. Ukhov’s coach Sergey Klyugin said that Ivan had fever the day before, but he decided to jump.

Aleksandr Shustov (SB 2.32) is slowly getting his shape after an illness he had in January.
