Smirnov improves his national best

Roman Smirnov improved the Russian best in the men’s 300m at the Meeting Pas de Calais held in Liévin, France.
Roman bettered his own best (32.88), set here last year, to 32.75 seconds. He finished second after Leslie Djhone who clocked 32.65 (World leading) and beat Belgium’s Jonathan Borlee (32.79) and Kevin Borlee (33.03). Smirnov was second in the men’s 200m clocking 21.18 as well.
