Ennis nervous about comeback at Powerade ION4 Citygames

Ennis, who missed adding another gold medal to her World and European heptathlon and World Indoor pentathlon successes in the last two years as a precautionary measure, is thrilled she will be back in action on May 15.

The 25-year-old cannot wait to get back onto the track and defend her 150 metres crown at the Powerade ION4 Great CityGames in Manchester, where she will also contest the 100 metres hurdles.

Ennis, who shocked even her coach Toni Minichiello by running under 17 seconds for the distance on the specially constructed track in Deansgate, sensibly rested after picking up the injury earlier in the year.
