Darya Pishchalnikova comebacks

Darya Pishchalnikova won the women’s discus throw at the Stavropol Krai Championships, held in Stavropol. She achieved 62.90m after her near 3-year ban.
Darya said she was nervous competing after the long-time break: “I was so nervous, that I stumbled in the ring on my first attempt. Then I concentrated and achieved a good result. I’m very happy I could stand all of this and comeback in the event. In addition, I thank the crowd for supporting me”.
The IAAF gave permission for Gulfiya Khanafeyeva to compete as well.
