IAAF President gets Togo’s highest civilian award

Monte-Carlo - The Republic of Togo has bestowed its highest civilian award to IAAF President, Lamine Diack.
Togo President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe presented the Commander of the Order of Mono award to President Diack at a special ceremony in the afternoon of 28 June.
The award, which comprises a medal and a citation, is Togo’s highest civilian honour and is given to individuals who show extraordinary merit, irrespective of their nationality.
