At the 24th Pole Vault meet (sea pier) German Martina Strutz cleared 470 in first attempt and won (she tried at world leading 478 too). Second world champion Anna Rogowska with 460 as she injured after breaking the pole at 470 (palm injury).
Third Russian Tatyana Polnova 450 ahead of Monika Pyrek 430.
