Russian Indoor, Day One.

Russian Indoor Championships started in the city of Volgograd yesterday. During the Day One’s competitions, there were six finals, in the 60m, the 3000m and the Shot Put.
Andrei Yepishin became the Russian Indoor champion in the men’s 60m. He clocked 6.71sec. The runner-up Aleksandr Smirnov achieved the same time.
Yekaterina Grigorieva won the women’s 60m with 7.23sec. Maria Bolikova was second – 6.25sec.
Pavel Naumov won the men’s 3000m with 7:55.04. Pavel Shapovalov ran up in 1.56sec.
Lilia Shobukhova became the champion in the women’s 3000m with 8:50.50.
Yuri Korotkov and Olga Riabinkina won the men’s and women’s shot put with 19.80m and 18.92m correspondingly.
