Kolodko wins shot put in Ostarva

Yevgeniya Kolodko won the women’s shot put at the European U23 Championships in Ostrava. She achieved 18.87m. Olesya Sviridova was 7th with 16.81m.

It is my first big medal, so it means a lot to me. I enjoyed the competition and I missed my personal best just by 3 cm. But it is still a good performance and I know I can improve and throw even further. I also think about the 19 meters. I was self confident and relaxed and the competition went just as I planed.
